Established in 1914, the Karkonosze Museum in the city of Jelenia Góra is renowned for its extensive collection of artistic and applied glass dating from ancient to contemporary times. We are proud that Unique Interactive had opportunity create the interactive multimedia used in the new exhibition space, constituting one of the largest collections in Europe.
In the first phase of the redevelopment of the Museum Exhibition, we created interactive touch screen applications to showcase the Art Glass collection.
In addition, we created an interactive mini cinema station; designed as multiscreen educational tool, the cinema station includes a videowall presentation, interactive games for children, and the interactive virtual creation of glass items using traditional methods.
In the second phase of the redevelopment of the Museum, we provided additional interactive educational applications to enhance existing collection of regional cultural and historic exhibits.
A large interactive historical map of the city and the informative touch screen galleries are important additions to the Museum. “We really want it to be an interactive museum” says Mrs Gabriela Zawila, museum director. “With the help of modern technologies, we want to present the evolution and growth of the City through its individual historic periods”.
