Museum of Papermaking
Located in the spa town of Duszniki-Zdrój, in the South Western region of Poland, the Museum of Papermaking is housed in an historic paper mill dating from the 16th Century – making the building itself a unique monument to technology, and one of the most architecturally valuable industrial monuments in Europe. The building itself is one of Poland’s official national Historic Monuments.
The Museum commenced a large-scale renovation and redevelopment in 2014, starting with the upgrade of the museum’s buildings and the expansion of its total exhibition space. The conservation and digitalisation of the Museum’s exhibits followed, including the creation and installation of imaginative and interactive exhibition displays.
This complex project required the creation of unique, innovative, and immersive interactive exhibition presentations, to offer a richer and more engaging experience to visitors of the Museum of Papermaking.
Unique Interactive’s multimedia solutions enable visitors to explore the history of papermaking – from the traditional craft of making paper by hand, to its importance in art and book binding, to the rules for producing banknotes and their associated security features.
Our technologies in the Museum of Papermaking cater for visitors of all ages, employing interactive games for children through to educational tools for adults, and are available in multiple languages.
